About Us
PrettyBizzy Books started with one simple idea.
My son didn't love reading, but he loved games, challenges, and being on his tablet. So I wrote a story that felt like a game he couldn't put down.
What started as a small idea turned into something much bigger, a publishing business I'm growing, with my boys right there alongside me.
This is more than books. It's a space to create, build, and bring ideas to life--and proof that even the smallest idea, in the right hands, can be something special.
PrettyBizzy Books is truly a family project - my son Mason (11) is already stepping into his role as my "social media manager", while Lucas contines to inspire every story we create.
Meet the Author
Nicole K. Lawrence is a Philadelphia wife, mom of two boys, and Associate Manager at Prudential Financial–where she's spent nearly two decades building her career in group insurance.
But somewhere between managing teams and running a household, she realized she wasn't done dreaming.
Nicole found her way back to her creative side–not just for herself, but to show her boys what's possible when you bet on your own ideas.
The Misadventures of Tyler & Lu: The Secret Under the Deck is her debut chapter book, born from real-life adventures, inside jokes, and her mission to make even the most reluctant reader say "just one more chapter."
When she’s not writing, Nicole can usually be found making tacos on Tuesday, cheering from the sidelines, or getting her daily steps in while listening to a good audiobook.
